QSPZ to be launched on Dec1st

Insulated torque wrench QSPZ will be launched DEC1st. This is a preset type torque wrench designed to protect from electric shock with insulated surface. It is ideal for electric car assembly as well as connection of battery terminals.

QL100N4-3/8 released

3/8 inch square drive version of QL100N4 is newly released as QL100N4-3/8 on Dec 1st. Except the square drive being 3/8 inch size, all the other features remain the same as regular QL100N4.

RNTDZ preset type insulated torque screw driver

RTDZ insulated torque screw driver now has preset type as RNTDZ. RNTDZ requires prior torque setting before shipment unless you have a torque screw driver tester. See here.

Preset Marking Torque Torque Wrench MQSP

Preset Marking Torque Wrench MQSP will be available on sale from 2011.09.21- onward. This marking torque wrench is the preset version of MPQL model.

QSP-MH, CSP-MH newly added to the series

QSP/CSP preset type torque wrench now has knurled handle version as QSP-MH and CSP-MH. Knurled handle type is designed to use in oily condition with comfort. Check here for QSP-MH specs and here for CSP-MH.

BQSP and BCSP upgraded to version 5.

Bi-directional torque wrench BQSP series and CQSP series are upgraded to BQSP5 and CQSP5 with a minor change in mechanism, which increased durability. Check here for BQSP-MH and here.

LC1400N2-G added to LC2-G series

LC1400N2-G(100Nm - 1400Nm) is now added to LC2-G series.
LC2-G is a very simple and comvenient torque checker designed for the assembly workers to check the accuracy of their torque wrenches before work.

Battery pack for DOTE3, etc, upgraded to BP-100-3

Battery pack for DOTE3(-G), LC2(-G), TDT2(-G), TME2 are now upgraded to BP-100-3. Continuous operation time is 7 hours, and compliant with ROHS. Check here for details.

Replacement tip (push felt) for MPQL added

New felt tips for MPQL marking torque wrench are added as accessory to the series. These are 9mm diameter felt and applicable for marker head MK93RB/MK93WY. Check here for details.

Tohnichi new product catalog 2011 is now available to download.

The new Product Catalog includes; newly developed products (slip type torque wrench, global version of digital torque wrenches, etc.), upgraded "Tightening Assurance System" chart with newly added wireless torque system, and RoHS mark is shown on all applicable models.

CEM3 upgraded to CEM3-G Global version

CEM3 is upgraded to -G version. -G stands for Global and CEM3-G is re-designed with selectable torque units from Newton, Metric and American inch pound through simple key operation. New charger BC-3-G can be used in wider range in 100 - 240V. Check out the details here

BTGE upgraded to BTGE-G global version

BTGE is now upgraded to BEGE-G with 4 selectable torque units, cN.m, kgf.cm, ozf.in, lbf.in. Torque units can be selected by simple key operation. Measurement Board (No.809) is added as an optional accessory, with which BEGE-G can be fixed on a table and used as a checker for torque screw driver,etc. Check out the details here

QSPCA, newly developed "Slip Type Torque Wrench", just launched out.

"QSPCA" model is a newly designed torque wrench with a slip action, preset type and ratchet head style. Once torque set is achieved, even if more force is applied, the tool does not add additional torque. "QSPCAMS" model, a limit switch version, for error-proofing (pokayoke) system is also available.

MPQL accessories upgraded

MPQL accessories are upgraded to enhance usability and performance. See the following improvements. ● Made with smaller outside diameter of sockets with lower cost. ● Extension bar can be connected to the socket. ● Added 10mm of nominal side socket as a standard item. ● Adopted special type ink (blue/red only), with which pen tip does not dry quickly even if the cap is not on. ● Re-designed the marker head for easier ink refills. CPT-G series now available

Operating instructions for "PQL" and "PCL", Pre-lock style torque wrenches, are renewed.

The operating instructions for PQL (Ratchet head type) and PCL (Interchangeable head type) models, are updated. The Pre-lock type torque wrenches have external scales, but requires a hex key to make torque adjustment. As complimentary products, photos and specification lists for "PQLLS/PCLLS", (for Pokayoke) are also added. The "PQLLS/PCLLS" modules can be converted into a wireless FH transmitter which can be used in 11 countries/region.

The new product catalog includes; replaced main catch lines for all products, upgraded color-coded model names and torque ranges by unit (S.I., Metric, American), added new product information and columns involving "Tightening Data Management System".

Russian certificate "GOST-R" can be seen in the QL/QLE model page.

"GOST-R" certificate is required to import and distribute torque products in Russia. Tohnichi "QL/QLE" model, adjustable click style torque wrench, is already certified the "GOST-R" to be used in Russia. Click here for details.
